Sammi is an Empowerment and Chronic Illness Coach, and NLP practitioner who is a rising voice, healer and advocate for women’s health and wellness. With over 20 years of experience facilitating women’s Red and Pink tent circles, hosting wellness and business workshops, and orchestrating local and destination healing retreats, Sammi is passionate about meeting women where they’re at and providing safe spaces to serve as a catalyst for powerful transformation.
Her mantra, “Be the woman you needed when you were her,” speaks to her calling to help women heal their wounds, rise in their power and lead lives with passion and purpose. A proud feminist, Goddess priestess in training, MS warrior and triumphant survivor of PTSD, physical and sexual abuse, Sammi is on a mission to support women and youth through their abuse and trauma recovery journey along with helping people navigate the challenges of living with a chronic illness or an invisible disability so they can live and lead from the heart, and become the women they were always meant to be.
In addition, Sammi has been fiercely active in her community as a Crisis Line Councilor, a disability and mental health advocate, abuse program volunteer, finance volunteer for Junior Achievement Canada and bookkeeper. Her credentials also include training and certification in small business management, bookkeeping, behaviour management, psychology, NLP, Reiki, and mother-wound healing, she is also certified in mental health first aid.
When she’s not busy advocating for women and supporting her community, Sammi can be found enjoying some down time with her husband, four sons and 3 fur babies.
